Front End Developer - Mid Level

We are looking for an experienced Mid Front-End Developer with a passion for video games.

You'll join a flexible, progressive company with a flat org structure and vibrant team culture.

The role is based in Melbourne, balancing work from home and the South Melbourne office.

Role Responsibilities:

• Developing Frameplay’s Front-End systems for web and future platforms
• Ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability through effective code
• Ensuring UI/UX is accurate to the design
• Pro-actively learn new technologies to improve developer & user experience

Programming Experience

• Strong ability in JavaScript & TypeScript
• Strong ability in HTML & CSS
• Ability to build UI/UX accurately to design
• Ability to build UI components optimised for user & developer experience

Software Experience

• Strong ability in React or Vue
• Working knowledge of source control & best practices
• Experience in GraphQL or REST API integration
• Experience with cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with responsive web applications
• Experience writing unit tests & E2E tests

Soft Skills and Behaviour

• Great verbal & communication skills
• Ability to breakdown & convey technical & complex ideas
