Derek Wise, Chief Product Officer, Oracle Data Cloud, Joins Frameplay as Strategic Advisor

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. FEBRUARY 12, 2021. Today Frameplay announced the appointment of Derek Wise, Chief Product Officer, Oracle Data Cloud, as a Strategic Advisor to Frameplay.

As Chief Product Officer at Oracle Data Cloud, Derek leads product management for the suite of offerings combined from the acquisitions of AddThis, Bluekai, Crosswise, Datalogix, Grapeshot that make advertising simple and effective.  Prior to this role, Derek was the Chief Technology Officer of Grapeshot, acquired by Oracle Data Cloud in 2018. His background includes more than 10 years of operating infrastructure as a service (IaaS) offerings, at various companies, including GNi, which he founded.

Derek’s extensive experience also includes building software teams in the areas of artificial intelligence in pharmaceutical research, online games, and open API platforms. His background in the U.S. Marines gave him insights into a wide range of communications security practices. Derek is a strong proponent of Agile and product development processes that put the customer at the center of the design.

Jonathan Troughton, CEO and Co-Founder reinforced this valuable appointment by saying,  “Derek’s passion and deep experience in the advertising and online gaming space will provide valuable strategic insight to Frameplay’s vision to be the leading full-stack intrinsic in-game advertising solution.”
