Frameplay, the global leader in enabling intrinsic in-game advertising, today announced Solomon (“Sol”) Trujillo as a board member to the company.
As a board member, Sol will provide executive guidance to Frameplay. His extensive experience in the transformation and digitization of his deployments in multiple sectors including technology, communications, wireless, and media, offers Frameplay a unique perspective in global scalability.
“Sol’s diverse expertise has earned him a prestigious reputation as a global business executive who understands the intricacies of developing long-standing businesses,” said Jonathon Troughton, CEO and Co-Founder of Frameplay. “Sol’s early involvement with mobile technology is representative of his business acumen for identifying innovative ideas, and we look forward to working closely with Sol as we continue to evolve the future of intrinsic in-game advertising.”
Sol has uniquely served as CEO of three large market-cap global companies in the three different corridors of the world, and also has nearly forty years of service on boards of directors across the globe. Sol has served the boards of PepsiCo, Bank of America, EDS, Orange, Telstra, Gannett, US West, Target, Soufun (China), and WPP, the world’s largest advertising agency holding company. He serves on the board of Western Union, a global financial services company, and was the initial investor in Cano Health, recently listed and ranked as the fastest growing primary care provider in America. Sol has been a recipient of a Top 100 Directors award from the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Sol also served as a trade policy advisor to the Clinton and Bush administrations, and is the Chairman and Founding Partner of New Cadence Productions, a U.S. television and film content creation studio for the New Mainstream audience. Sol chairs the Trujillo Group, LLC, investing in private companies domestically and internationally. He is the Chair and Co-founder of the Latino Donor Collaborative, working to create an understanding of U.S. Latinos based on research and data, and is co-founder of L’ATTAITUDE a national New Mainstream Economy business event and national policy discussion platform.
“Having spent my career in the global technology, mobile, and content production spaces and advising various Fortune 500 companies, I can attest that the most disruptive tech businesses are those that make strategic decisions to enable innovation. Frameplay executes this philosophy exceptionally by prioritizing the gamer experience through non-disruptive advertising technology, high-quality creatives that tie seamlessly into the games, and exclusive methods for 3D viewability measurement. This approach is setting the international standard for intrinsic in-game advertising,” said Sol Trujillo. “I am looking forward to working with Frameplay and its board to advise them on progressive global expansion efforts as the company prepares for continued, strategic growth.”
